Michael Nobrega brought forward a report on proposed changes to the OMERS Act in response to the recent provincial budget; further information was requested by the SC to clarify the risks and benefits involved in expanding access to the Fund.

The final Framework Agreement was accepted and adopted by the SC. The Framework Agreement includes 26 common areas (Touchpoints) and includes the establishment of a Joint Council to address any new issues; four SC Members were appointed until December 31st.

Four additional specified plan change proposals were tabled, and a motion was carried to allow for an extension of prescribed timelines for determining whether to file the 2008 Plan Valuation, in order to fully consider the impact other proposals might have on the filing decision.
