by November 15, 2018, will be entered into a draw to win one of five $1,000 cash prizes.
Members who updated their contact information on myOMERS.com
or registered for myOMERS between September 1, 2018, and October 31, 2018, will automatically be entered.
We work hard to maintain current and accurate information so we can contact our members when the need arises – such as for paying the pensions they have earned. With almost 500,000 members, proactive measures like this contest are a cost-effective way to ensure that contact information is current.
This initiative is also aligned with recent industry and government efforts that have focused on developing guidelines and processes for Canada’s pension plan administrators to locate members in order to pay unclaimed benefits and to maintain contact. This includes the Financial Services Commission of Ontario’s recently released policy on how pension plans can find former members and maintain current member contact information.
